The Luxury Yacht Exchange provides the Buyer an open integrated system that allows our Buyer and The Exchange Staff together, online and in real-time

  1. To conveniently exchange in-depth information on all yachts available on the market,
  2. To jointly analyze, correlate and compare the specifications & details of a large array of yachts all at one time,
  3. To develop a specific yacht rating system for the individual client which is jointly used by the client and the Staff, to define and prioritize specific yachts that meet the client’s needs, and
  4. To jointly create for the client his own Personal Online Yacht Library, within The Exchange Website, which displays in one convenient and accessible place in-depth information and photographs of all of the yachts of specific interest to the client.

Our Buyer’s System allows the client and the Staff to be sitting together looking at one computer screen or to be conversing over the phone while each is looking at their respective computer screens at home or office.  Thus and in real-time, they can be jointly discussing all of the details of yachts as reflected in items (i) through (iv), above. The purpose of the sophisticated and integrated system is to provide our client with a comprehensive, thorough and analytical way to gain an understanding of the yacht market, reasonable valuations and the knowledge that our Buyer is comparing apples to apples. This is in distinction to the commonly seen, random and rather superficial process that Buyers are often led through by the general brokerage community.

The process that we go through with each client is as follows:

I. Our Buyer’s System for Finding, Analyzing & Rating Yachts on the Market

The Yacht Gallery: The Client is directed to The Yacht Gallery to view a quick visual display of a large array of styles and types of yachts that are available on the market. The intent is to determine an initial perspective on the type, length, function and cost of yachts that might be of interest to the client.

Buyer’s Interactive Market Survey & Database: Once we have defined the nature of yacht the client is interested in, we create a Private Market Survey that the client can access online and interactively view and manipulate with the Staff. The Survey is in a “Table” format and provides inordinate details and specifications of a large list of yachts that the Staff feels should be considered by the Client. The Client can efficiently analyze, correlate and compare yachts, one to another, and then sort the yachts into those that remain of interest. Additionally, the Client can click on any of the yachts listed and see pictures of that particular yacht.

Buyer’s Interactive Yacht Analysis & Rating System: Once the Private Market Survey function has sorted the universe of yachts down to specifically those that appear to merit further analysis, the Client and the Staff jointly create an Online Yacht Ratings Table that applies to the yachts the client’s personal criteria of what defines a “Proper Yacht”. The Yacht Rating function then sorts the yachts that are of continuing interest into a priority list showing those yachts that get the best overall rating.

Buyer’s Personal Yacht Library: The culmination of our disciplined program of yacht analysis is the Online Buyer’s Library that is constructed for the client within The Exchange Website. It offers the client an organized, one stop platform for viewing yachts that are of interest. Additionally, the Online Buyer’s Library is interactive, real-time and fully integrated with the Market Survey and Yacht Ratings system. This platform is a marvelously efficient and functional program.
